I had a lovely weekend away up to visit Glynn and Jayne and my cousin Thomas up in Wellington. Had an absolutely lovely time just hanging out and doing very little ;) Much as I love my daughter, I also love not being woken up at 06:30 on the dot once in a while ;)

I’d hurt my calf just recently playing squash, so I had every excuse to be extra super lazy, though Glynn did take me out for a walk (or was that their new puppy Bonnie?). I think they’re mental, just through having the kids old enough to look after themselves and get a new creature to take care of ;)

So lovely to get away, and so lucky to be able to do it, given the pandemic ‘n all.

The blog to email service I had been using (feedburner) is shutting down. Fortunately there’s Feedrabbit (click this link) which you can sign up for and then subscribe to the blog with. Thanks to Marcel for finding a nice alternative :)
