A while ago I had a little extra time and decided to build a basic chess game with Anna. The main thing I wanted to get out of it was Anna understanding that you could create for the Internet (not just consume it). The first game was a maze like game where you got to move a piece around the board. The game I’ve just finished building out is called Radioactive Pooping Knights.
Basically you move a knight around the screen (which makes amazing fart noises) and try not to get trapped (you can’t actually capture the opponent). There are other games on there (just click the logo in the top left), and I’m adding more.
I added a “buy me a coffee” link, so far my friend Tim has contributed which was extremely kind of him. Unfortunately they don’t pay out for < $20 and it’s sitting at 19.85 or something (USD!). Maybe someone else will find it fun :)
Anyway, let me know if you enjoy it. The target audience is 6-7 year olds being introduced to chess ;)
